5/5  Posted by MR. RADCLIFFE, Ron, United States in August 2008
"Excellent staff and great location just be sure the taxi driver takes you to the right entrance or you'll have to walk the back way to check in. Currently Dubai has so much road construction going on many of the hotel roads and entrances are being worked on so it is dififcult to get in and out sometimes. The Millennium is a fun and nice place to stay enjoy with a very nice staff and pub right inside. Cataus Jacks is a great bar and Mexican style restruant."

"The Hotel has been renovated in recent years and is now extremely nice. However, I arrived in Dubai at 05.00 in the morning and was told unless I waited until 08.30 I would have to pay for a full days extra room charge if I wanted to access the room any earlier! On top of that, they charge guests 100 DHS (US$28) per day for internet connection and have no hourly tariff which can be used too check your e-mails. In this modern age is absolutely scandalous and as a business traveler I found unacceptable. The Rooms in the commercial building are huge clean and contemporary, but on my last day no towels were left in the bathroom."

"The Millennium is probably a four star hotel, however, for the 'discounted' rooms, they stick you out back in what is called the 'Chalet' - whose rooms are equivalent to a rundown motel. Also, the construction site right next door starts up at 8 o'clock in the morning - so forget about sleeping in. Breakfast is not included and is quite expensive. "

"Although the hotel is wonderful and in a great location for airport travelers, the Chalet rooms are a disgrace. They are very dirty and dingy and at first I thought they were rooms intended for the hired help! A motel 6 would be better than these. Spend the money and get a standard room in the actual hotel, not back in the maids quarters!"

"Terrible! Toilet did not flush and TV did not operate. Do not stay in the chalets. They should be condemned. "

"We were booked into the Chalets but on seeing them refused to stay as they were very old, clean but old and the doors did not seem very secure. We requested a room in the hotel, which we were given but had to pay extra. These rooms were ok but I did expect a better standard as other hotels we had seen on the web were much better, still we all learn by our mistakes!!! "

"The hotel is in a great location to Dubai International Airport and offer a free shuttle service to transfer you. The reception area of the hotel is lovely and modern but my room was not and resembled a run-down motel room! The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a good choice of restaurants though."
2/5  Posted by MR. KRUMINS, kirk, United Kingdom in February 2007
"The room that they advertised on the net was 4 star. The room they gave me when i got there was 2 star."
2/5  Posted by MR. TATE, Kevin, United Kingdom in February 2007
"Paid for 2 nights and left after 1. If you are looking for a dirty, grotty, run down motel room then opt for a chalet room here. Loud air-con, 3 channel TV, no power outlets unless of course you unplug TV, air-con or the one and only light. Room door had broken lock, toilet would not flush, headboard broken, and a shower that dribbled at best. A disgrace of a hotel room and the staff were not much better. Strongly suggest you avoid. "

"Carpets were dirty, suites were dirty with cigarette burns, bathroom facilities were old.Disabled facilities were not evident i.e. ramps, disabled toilets.Booked one room for 3 adults - room only had a double bed.Would not use this hotel again unless facilities were upgraded."
