| "The only disturbing thing is that the hotel contains three nightclubs with extremely loud music that can be heard up to the 5th floor.If you are planning to stay at this hotel make sure you get a room on the 6th or 7th floor.The food (Braekfast and lunch) is very good with a big choice of different meals at a very reasonable price.The location is very central so that you can reach the Creek within 5-10 minutes walk." |

| "The highland hotel was very basic. I had trouble figuring out whether it was a night club or hotel. I have never seen such a small hotel have so many night clubs. If your a single man, you will love it, however the only girls you will meet will be the ones dancing in front of you. The only request I had before we came to the hotel was a room on a high floor and they gave us a room on the 3rd floor and we had to listen to blarring music all night. However they did move us the next night but I don't understand why they couldn't have fixed that before we arrived. The room we moved to had no tea or coffee and was very basic. I have stayed at a lot nicer places and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here unless you are on a tight budget and can't afford anything else." |

| "our first impression of dubai was good and the hotel played a good part in this
we enjoyed our stay in the highland and would recomend the highland and would stay there again your staff were very freindly and made us very welcome
your air conditioning is very good but a bit on the cold side for ourselves but apart from that it was a very good stay and value for money

| "Reading some comments which were not in favour made me a little bit sceptic but i didnīt have any complaints!!
good location, Carrefour-supermarket 5mins to walk, nice room, very helpful staff, i stayed on the 6th floor - not that noisy.
As it is a business- and housing-district shops, restaurants and cafeterias located near the hotel.
Buffet-breakfast absolutely oK
I think itīs hard to find a hotel which is comparably good for that price

| "I found the hotel suited my budget as there were four adults in two separate rooms and one had two single beds, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was adequate but needs renevating. We mostly had breakfast during ourstay but did have room service meals on the odd occassion, the breakfast served was good as there was a choice of foods. We spent five nights there and on two occassions we coul here the music was from the disco till about three am. " |

| "The room was clean and good size, location only 10 minutes walk from Dubai Museum overlooking Gulf and restaurants were good.
My only problem was that my room was on 2nd floor which happened to be right above the nightclub. I asked to move rooms and they did that without any fuss and could not have been more helpful. Service of all staff was very good. If you are not going to be enjoying the club facilites I would recommend asking for a room on the high floor." |
