| "This was a brillant hotel to stay at. The room decor and size was amazing, probably the best I've stayed in so far. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely and large enough for everyone. Would definitely recommend this hotel." |

| "I went to this hotel as an alternative to the Jumeriah Beach hotel and in short I felt disappointed. It is fair to say that on its own merits the hotel is actually quite good but compared to the alternatives available in Dubai it requires more attention to detail.
The single thing that most bothered me throughout the stay is the persistent noise from children. It was like being in a play school with consistent running, screaming and shouting. I have nothing against children, I was an energetic one after all, but I felt misled by the marketing of this hotel as a romantic and relaxing spa luxury.
There are various room types available but we opted for the resort type room which opens to the gardens next to the pool and gardens. A path easily leads you to the beach. The room location was excellent and much to my surprise I found that this room type was cheaper than staying in the characterless tower where most you see is dust and cranes from all the neighboring construction going on.
Service was average. The lady at check-in must either have had a bad day, was at the end of her shift or simply a grump. Breakfast is decent but if you want some peace either opt to go first thing in the morning or foot the bill for room service. If you opt for the resort type room you can enjoy it in your personal terrace.
Spa facilities were also decent but once again one good hear the shrieks passing though all the walls and towering in volume over the supposedly relaxing music. Gym is superb.
On the whole I would say the hotel is good but next time I fork out the difference and stay at the Jumeriah Beach Hotel.

| "Somewhat odd visit. Habtoor managed to slip on various ocasions and traditional "Dubai 5-star" -attitude didn't always come thru.
Then again, Habtoor isn't too expensive either. Very mixed feelings, I'd go elsewhere next time..." |

| "Had a fantastic stay. Our room was upgraded to a resort suite - wonderful. Very reasonable on price. Building works no problem as didn't really see them or hear them whilst we were there. Recommend to all." |

| "Had a great time at the Habtoor Grand. The staff were very nice and helpful at all times. The hotel has many amenities and nice restaurants. It's a little bit away from downtown Dubai, as in the Creek and Deira, but there is never any problem getting taxis and they are really reasonable in Dubai. Also the hotel has shuttle services to three malls each day, departing at various times. It has a lovely beach as well as fine pools. I would definitely recommend it." |

| "We arrived at 7am, to early for our 2pm check in. They secured our luggage and we were informed that we could use all the facilities until then.
Towels are provided for pool and beach use which is very handy.
The room we had was over looking the pool and considering the amont of building work at the front of this hotel it was very peaceful and quiet. The room was very clean. The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities. Apart from that the room was spot on.
Pool area and beach are both of high standard, although we did find the walk from the hotel to the beach a bit of a trek especially in 41 degree heat !
There are many restaurants. We only dined in one of them and found it quite adequate.
All staff where very helpful and made are stay very enjoyable.
Would definately recommend this hotel to others." |

| "I stay in a lot of hotels every year. This hotel was one of the best. The staff couldnt do enough for us. They were always available when we needed service but were never under our feet.
The pool is a great place to chill, as is the beach. The hotel also has an asortment of Bars & restaurants to suit all tastes. I highly recomend the service & food in the 25th floor restaurant.
The breakfast buffet is exceptional. Any thing you need can be located via the concierge. The only downside to the hotel is that it is surrounded by building works, but it is difficult to find a location in Dubai that isnt in close proximity to some kind og building works." |
