There was a small restaurant named Poppies in La Jolla, California & it was appreciated by certain Hollywood personalities of the day. The restaurant was named after the state flower of California. And you find Poppies Restaurant, Kuta in the south end of Jalan Legian, close to Bemo Corner. Do you want to take your dine beneath a canopy of flowers, amidst pools and waterfalls? You please go to the Poppies Restaurant, Kuta. Over the past three decades this restaurant has become the center of attraction for the tourists. Set in the lush tropical garden, the restaurant has a small pond with dragonflys and koy fish in the center. Its favorite dish is the Tom Yum soup. The first four cottages were established in 1974 & they were followed by twenty others.
In the Poppies Bali, there are twenty luxurious thatch-roofed cottages & around the cottages there is a wonderful garden of hibiscus, scented jasmine, and frangipani. It will surely make you feel that you are in a dreamland. You can roam through the red-brick paths with a view of waterfalls and time-worn stone figures, watched over by the towering palms of an ancient coconut grove. In one corner of the garden there is the swimming pool and jacuzzi area that was added in 1987, set amidst natural rocks and cascades. The interiors of the cottage are finely decorated with colorful Indonesian fabrics along with a host of thoughtfully provided creature comforts as well as local artefacts. A hidden garden area that conceals a charming bathroom is beside every cottage.
All sorts of facilities are available here. Each cottage has a quiet split-type air-condition system. Room service is available from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. The famous Kuta beach is a 200 metre walk down Poppies Lane.Just go the Poppies Restaurant & enjoy the day!
