| "I had chosen this hotel and booked a Deluxe room after looking at the rooms on the hotel's own website. It read that all Deluxe rooms comes with a bathtub. However, on my first day, I was allocated a room without a bathtub. Room was nice and location was okay (it overlooked the pool) but where was my bathtub?!?! I called the Reception and asked why I was given a Superior-liked room and was told that I was given a Deluxe room but the guest had to put in a request if they want a Deluxe room with a bathtub (What the...?!)
I requested for a change immediately but they had no rooms with a bathtub on my first day and I had to wait till the second day to change to a proper Deluxe-like room.
Thank god the receptionists were nice (or maybe they figured out that I am a BITCH) and gave me a nice Deluxe room on the first floor, about twenty steps away from the pool and of course with a bathtub.
Otherwise, service is pretty good (the receptionists actually remembers my room number during my four days at the resort), location is not too bad though it's a bit of a walk to the road where all the nightlife is.
I recommend this place if you are a couple seeking for some quiet, bonding moments." |

| "When we arrived, we were told that all the normal deluxe rooms were fully occupied and our room were being upgraded to pool side deluxe room!
The room is clean and spacious. What we like the most is we could slide open the balcony door and walk into the swimming pool!
The receptionists are very nice and friendly. However, some of the waiter and waitress at the restaurant that we had breakfast were not as friendly and put up a black face.
We had a pleasant stay at Thara Patong and would consider to go back again." |

| "I spent a night at Thara patong and originally booked a superior room. Upon arrival in Thara patong, I was given a free upgrade to a premier pool access room. The room was fantastic. It was big, spacious and clean, except the toilet which was not as clean as expected, and the safe deposit was faulty. Nevertheless the room had everything else that was needed. And I personally think the room I had was one of the best in the hotel as it is located at quiet spot near the spa, Tarmarind pool bar, and is only a short walk from the reception. The favourite part of my stay was walking out from my balcony straight into the jacuzzi pool. Service at the hotel was fantastic. I had no problems changing my spa appointment and ordering my complementary drinks from the pool side to enjoy at my balcony. After I finished my drink, the glasses were cleared from my balcony which was across the pool! In terms of location, Thara patong may not be the best but is only a short 5 mins walk from the beach and bangla street. I would definitely recommend couples and families to stay at Thara Patong!" |

| "this was our first time in Phuket and the hotel is in a very good location, in the middle of everything but still very quiet and peaceful, the service was excellant and the staff very friendly, very well priced and very good value for money. will definatly stay there again " |
