| "The hotel room was large and airy but unfortunatly full of cob webs, which made my wife uneasy as she is terrified of spiders. I would not recommend the swimming pool as its a disaster waiting to happen, there are tiles loose and missing, also really rough patches which could easily cut someone, I certainly would not have let a child use it because of the jagged edges in the pool.
The staff in the dining room were really friendly and helpful, a shame the food was not of the same standard." |

| "nice hotel with teakwood floor. breakfast on an open deck amid fog shrouded with low hills backdrop. need your own transportation to restaurants in town. Poi San Long festival at the end of March is not to be missed." |

| "Very pleasantly located hotel, surrounded by lots of trees. Easy access if you have your own wheels.
Although the hotel is equipped with satellite dishes, TV channels are poorly tuned - which is quite often the case in Thai hotels - a nuisance for those who like to know what's happening in the world." |

| "Beautiful hotel, located in a beautiful part of Thailand. Located outside of town, but as we had a car, this did not pose a problem. Rooms were very comfortable, and service at the hotel very good. We enjoyed our two night stay, and would not hesitate to return to the Imperial Tara Mae Hong Son on our next visit." |

| "Nice looking hotel from the outside, nice gardens and pool. Deluxe rooms very basic and rather musty. Bathrooms need replacing to come up to 3* standard." |

| "A beautiful luxury hotel, but quite outside and very badly connected to the town. A cage for tourists: just 2 busses per day to get out of the hotel and no taxi service available." |
