| "We loved the Fern Resort. Its lush walkways and gardens made us feel we were in paradise. Located in a jungle area, it still maintained a sense of modernity in an eco-sensitive way. A bit out from the center of things, but access was easy and no problem. " |

| "Very pleasing spacious rooms in individual bungalows set in picturesque surroundings. Rooms lack a fridge: bathrooms have a very limited supply of hot water in the shower. Beautiful surroundings with walk trails and guide dogs! Good restaurant with excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff." |

| "The gentleman at the reception is very friendly and helpful and the place is so quiet and peaceful. It is nice sitting outside the room with a book and the padi fields right in front of you." |

| "The friendliness of the people working here and the beautiful rice fields and cottages make this place really special. As we discovered later during our trip in Thailand, a place can be very nice and thoroughly designed, but if the people are not friendly, it still is no good. The people in this resort are so friendly and easy going and nice, that we won't forget this easily. Beware of the dogs, though, they happily guide you to the paths they like most, rather then showing you the trail you would like to walk and, yes, they make you sweat... But you forgive them, as they are so happy to walk with you and bark exitedly when you return in the resort coming back from a trip to town!" |

| "The suite we had was spacious with beautiful wooden floor and a lovely verandah facing the paddy fields. If you are bringing a child along, be prepared to pay 500B per night for a mattress. We stayed for 3 nights and each morning, the limited buffet breakfast was exactly the same. The service could be improved. The saving grace were the friendly dogs which can bring you on the nature trail. Suggest you stay here only if you are driving as the resort is about 8km from town and you would need to drive out or take the once every evening shuttle out to get some good food. " |

| "We stayed in Fern Resort mid July 2006 and enjoyed a good time. Restaurant is relatively expensive but food was good and service very friendly.
The resort is frequently used by tourgroups. As a result of this, during the daytime, the place was often deserted. Staff is really friendly and eager to deliver service. Please note that the free shuttle-service is only available 3 times a day and that the resort is 7 km from town. You may end up paying 500 B for private use of the shuttle. We rented scooters to get around this. Worked out very well. Walking with the dogs was fun, but we ended up taking the wrong trail ! So keep to the map and have fun with the dogs." |

| "Fern Resort is a kind of a jungle and botanical Camp. It's very nice for having a walk in the resort, you feel like a part of the natur. The Deluxe bungalow was quite simple, the restaurand not to well. But if you stay in Fern Resort you can enjoin
the nature very well. " |

| "Fabulous place beautiful and peaceful. Staff very friendly. We had the cheapest basic room which was fine but there are some bigger fancier bungalows. The meals were tasty and not expensive. The free shuttle bus into town was very handy. The Fern resturant in town served great food we would recommend it. We had 2 small children with us who loved running around the resort and the old paddy fields as well as playing with the resort guide dogs. Great place !" |

| "The Fern resort is very unique and beautiful. And for the price we paid (pretty cheap() it was worth the stay for sure. The dog hike was cool. The only thing I would improve upon even for the money is to somehow have someone who speaks better English. Here's why . When we arrived at the airport, we found the sign that said free shuttle to Fern Resort. But then when we called not only could the lady who answered not understand enough to send us the free shuttle but she couldnt even understand that we had paid for the hotel 2 months before and already had reservations. So she kept telling me they were booked up already with no vacancies and I kept telling her "NO we've already paid and have reservations". I finally had to hang-up in frustration and sit their stuck at the airport. Then I found a lady who could speak English well at teh airport. Luckily she helped us out by calling the resort again and explaining to them that we had reservations and we needed to be picked up. Beware that there are NO phones and no TVs at this resort. I dont care about the TV but not havign a phone that we could use even in the office really was frustrating. And the resort is out of cell phone range so that did not work either. If you can handle these thigns though, this resort is highly recommended for the price that is." |
