| "We have stayed at the Pornping many times and this time the rooms have been renovated and are much brighter and lighter than before. The breakfast is excellent, although it is the same every day. The location is perfect for the Night Market and also the many eating places. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others." |

right on top of night bazaar,if thats your thing..
having a nightclub right next door,literally,was handy also...

| "This is second time staying at this hotel. I really like the location. It is next to the night market and everything is close by. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem.
I was travelling alone this trip and the room and facilities were perfect for me.
The breakfast could do with some improvemrnt for european tastes. There was a lot of choice but I would have really liked a hot cup of tea.
I was there in May, the low season, as everyone says and it was quiet - good time for a bargen.
All in all I think it is great place to stay and I would recommond it and I will stay there again. Thanks.

| "The hotel is pleasant, yet not really outstanding. Its located strategically so getting to places of interest is easy. However, the atmosphere is lacking as the hotel lacks spirit. But for those just wanting a clean place to stay and a reasonable price, this is the one." |

| "i am very dissapointed with the hotel. From the receptionist to the quality of the rrom are really poor. I am also not too sure if you will post my comment in the internet. The hotel is very very old. The elevator is old, and dirty, the walkway are dark, many mosqitoes, carpet is dirty. And also the rooms are dirty, bad smell, the hot water is not on 24 hours, they have to swicth on the hot water so my 1 year and 9 months baby can take a shower. Even that I have to wait for almost 1 hour. many mosqitoes in the room and bite my daughter. The receptionist are not friendly. i dont know what to say about this place. You must go there and feel it yourself to belive my comment above." |

| "Only stayed two nights (Special Deluxe Room and requested higher floor) but enjoyed the visit. Much better than I expected from reading other reviews. Friendly and efficient service, both reception and room attendants. Good swimming pool; seems many of the guests are package and are away from the hotel through the day. 100 metres (through the back entrance) from night bazaar with cultural performances, food and cold drinks. Great value and a good base for a visit to Chiang Mai. " |

| "The location of this hotel is very very ascessible to the famous Chiang Mai NIGHT BAZZAR (less that 5 minutes walk) and ARUSAN MARKET (less than 10 minutes walk). there is a convenient store just outside the hotel. Service of the hotel staff are nice. There is a swimming pool in this hotel. Room is ok, very standard, a queen size bed (on request), a wardrobe, a mini bar, a TV, three chairs & a toilet. Toilet has a bath tub with hot shower, worth the money spent. I like the boomerang shape like pillow. Make you sleep peacefully & comfortably. Can be purchase at the hotel lobby for 400 thai baht. Two thumbs up to this hotel." |
