| "Great value for money! The rooms are dated but everything was in good working order. The pool and gym were nice. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The staff were friendy and helpful. I would recommend the Novotel to anyone planning on going to Chang Mai. " |

| "This is my 3rd stay at Novotel Chinagmai. The breakfast is good as ever, and the staff polite and helpful. We booked a triple room. WE had to call Housekeeping twice before the third bed is made up. The portable third bed was of poor quality that the middle bit sank. My mother had back aches for two days when she returned from the holiday as she was sleeping on it. Otherwise, stay went well

| "All hotel personnels always maintained helpful and friendly attitude in particular those of the restaurant and cafe.
However the telephone charges are a bit unreasonable commensurate with other Novotel Hotels or hotels of the same rating elsewhere in Thailand" |

| "My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights from 5th Feb 2008.
We are long term travellers and have stayed at a huge number of hotels in the past 12 months. THIS IS THE BEST VALUE WE HAVE HAD FOR OUR MONEY - thanks AsiaRooms.com. We were 100 percent satisfied with everything that Novotel had to offer, room, bathroom, facilities and especially the international standard breakfast.
The location is a little outside the city centre and the hotel taxi service will try to charge 200 baht although they will settle for 150 baht. The real price, if you walk 20 metres to the main road and hail a Songthaew is 30 baht per person." |

| "Good room but no ventilation in bathroom.
Lots of food in the breakfast but you have to ask the
personal about coffee every morning.
A little bit far from city if you want to walk.
Very helpful personal.
The hotel is ok but I have lived in better and worse
hotels." |

| "The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms of a very good size and cleaners did a thorough job.
Breakfast was very good. The tour booking service was efficient and reasonably priced.
The hotel is definitely not within comfortable walking distance of the excellent Chiang Mai night market but the free shuttle service was available.
Our only (mild) complaint was the location - there wasn't much of interest within walking distance from the hotel. Generally though, very good value for money." |

| "Great for the price. I went for the cheapest standard room and found it to be very clean. The hotel serves a great breakfast, has a new supermarket next door (which has a coffee shop and where you can buy cheap freshly cooked food from the deli counter) and is walking distance to Chiang Mai city centre (good for the Sunday market) - only 20 minutes walk. You can also arrange various tours around Chiang Mai from the hotel (e.g. To Doi Suthep temple, elephant camps, etc) - at reasonable prices." |

| "A good hotel with polite efficient staff.
Room was an excellant size with adequate sound proofing. Room was however let down by a Bathroom that was showing significant signs of wear and a little mould in the corners of the bath.
The Hotel has a resonable restaurant, however alternative choices are very limited within walking distance from the Hotel. Hotel is a long walk from the main tourist areas. However the hotel is an excellant base for taking organised tours of the mountains. With a helpful and resonable travel agent in the lobby to arrange your tours.
Unfortunatly it showed its French ownership by making the Tea at breakfast using the "non boiling" water from a Coffee machine. However I did find the Queen Victoria bar a short walk away that served Tea with in a Tea Pot." |
