| "I book 2 single room at Samran place to my suprise I can check in early when I reach the hotel at around Bangkok time 9.30am.
The room was big enough for couple it comes with a queen size bed. The bathtub was clean with very basic toiletries. Room was facing a construction site so my advise is don't draw your curtain.
The reception wasn't very friendly accept for the helpful and friendly sercurity guard who helps us flag for cab each time we going out. Is pretty hard to flag a cab. Breakfast comes in set very basic too, I like their pancake.
The location is not bad too there is a short cut to Asia hotel from there you can take a BTS if you want to. But I find that the price of taking BTS is not much different from taking a meter cab. 15min walk to Platinum mall or Pratunam. I will consider coming here for my next trip. " |

| "After reading the reviews, i decided to give a try to this hotel.
To my surprised, the spacious room is the motivation, although we have a triple sharing beds.
One set back is that i dun like the bed too near to the toilet. They should have wooden doors to block the toilet light rays being shone over the plastic door, especially in the nite when we sleeps with the toilet lights on.If not the whole room is rather dark.
Breakfast is quite rigid, not buffet style, few days of eating will bored us fast.
I totally agree with the review of the foot massage parlour near the hotel, its perfect and the ladies are so professional and better than those at patpong, two thumbs up. After our tired legs n body of shopping, just pop over and let the ladies do the massage of the legs n shoulders, Phew, Power, so relax and rejuvenated. No Joke, should and must try. Price is so reasonable for this kind of service
Its also walking distance to the Platinium Plaza for the wholesale shopping.
Overall view of the place and hotel is above average.
One pointer, dun be harrassed by the toot toot guy and the taxi driver that is outside the massage parlour. They lied about the cheap fare to your destination, but wanna pressed you to let him sent you to the jewellery wholesale centre to buy jewelleries, so that he can get the petrol voucher from the shop. That's one thing I dun like about his attitude. Before frenly, after you reject show you a kind of face. He need stern warning from Hotel management to stop harrassing guest from the hotel.

| "I haved stayed in Bangkok several times. This was the first time that I stayed at Samran Place and was quite surprised by the enjoyable experience. The room was clean and well taken care of, staff was polite, food was good and location to sky train was close. I stayed for three days and left to go to Koh Samed and then returned to same hotel for three more days. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will use anytime I return to Bangkok and need a place to stay." |

| "my wife and I are in our 70's and have stayed at the Samran now 5 times. For the price the hotel is fantastic value, in a good position, about 15 minutes from MBK, 10 minutes to Skytrain and about 20 minutes to garment and computer centres. These are all walking times.
The staff are courteous and very keen to help and management will go out of their way to assist if there are any problems.
Breakfast is simple, but nutritious and tasty, Asian food and Western food.
For value this is probably the best hotel we have stayed at in Asia." |

| "Overall - friendly and helpful staff, if the manager could smile abit that would be even wonderful. The guard, with specs, was a jovial, friendly and helpful staff of Samran Place, went the extra mile - everyone will remember him.
Improvements and maintenance required for TV functions and programmes in Room 811.
Had an enjoyable stay. Will revisit Samran for sure. Thanks.

Paulna" |

| "We really enjoyed our stay at Samran. The location is right in the heart of Bangkok. It's near to the BTS Rachathewi Station,Pratunam Market,Siam Square,MBK,etc. The front desk staff, Mrs.Nueruengwan and the security, Mr. Rangsan have been really helpful & very nice to our family, especially my son,Jeremy. They offered to help us to get a taxi with a meter to the airport and also took care of our luggages before we go to the airport after checked out.Anyway, we'll definitely stay in Samran again next time we go to Bangkok!
