| "This hotel is absolutely dated, carpet and wallpaper are shocking. Also bedbugs, got covered in bites! Wouldn't recommend to stay here!
On a good note, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom is ok, breakfast is good and the location is very handy. " |

| "I was very disappointed with my stay. The whole way through my stay (6 nights), renovations took place. I wasn't emailed or contacted to be made aware of the renovations. If I had known of the noise that took place prior to my arrival, I would have stayed elsewhere. Jackhammers until 1:30am in the morning really isn't my idea of a peaceful holiday!
On a positive note, the location was central to everything." |

| "I was bitten by bed bugs during my stay in Room @ Silom. There was a total of 10 bites over my body and there is no way I will be going back to the hotel again." |

| "Excellent budget hotel in good position away from the main hustle and bustle of Bangkok with loads of cheap restaurants to eat at with the locals and only around the corner from the metro system. Good breakfast. Executive room excellent for Bangkok. Stayed with husband and son. Would defintely stay here again. Was nice to go the main areas of Bangkok, but equally nice to come back to the more traditional Bangkok." |

| "My wife and I stayed at this hotel last year when it was called Trinity@Silom, it is very close to Chongnonsi BTS skytrain and also close to Saladaeng BTS and MRT underground train. Plenty of things to see and do close by. Close to a lot of action but far enough to be quiet. We took our family of 4 kids back this year and would definately come back again. Staff have basic english, but communication is not a major problem.

| "Good budget hotel. We got the suite. Very big room, clean, a little bit old furnishet, so as the hotel appearance from outside. The location is very good (1 minute walk from Chong Nansy sky train station, near the Hearitage hotel). Very good service, fair breakfast. If you need a clean budget hotel in a good area (Silom), go there. " |

| "I have had multiple stays at Room@Silom. Perfectly located to transport and Silom entertainment. The hotel Taxi driver Keng is great and very helpful and prices are very reasonable. The hotel is doing renovations at the moment and can be a tad noisy during the day. The rooms are a bit 1970's, but clean and spacious with fresh linen every day. The hotel is very gay friendly.
Breakfast is OK, but could have a bit more variety." |

| "BED BUGS...BED BUGS...BED BUGS
If you like the look of swollen red lumps all over your body then this is the hotel for you !
We checked in made our way to our room.We passed the corridors and it seemed like were were already in a 1 star motel. We were disappointed with the overall look of the room as my sister&I were expecting something a little more judging from the pictures. We got over that and thought..hey,it's only for two nights and we intended not to be in the room 24/7.I brought my bikinis along intending to have a dip after a 9 hour plane journey however was again disappointed that we would have to cross the bustley road dodging cars&pedestrians in order to use the opposite hotels facilities.
I decided to then turn the shower on to un-wind but discovered that the water temperature decides to switch to hot and then cold on a regular basis.I requested that the shower head be changed as I only received a slow &scarce release of water at a time.
Once I got through my shower,I proceeded to the mini-bar area to turn the kettle on however discovered that no tea/coffee making facility is provided.
My sister and I got dressed and made our way onto the Bangkok streets to discover the city.Upon arrival back to our room,I stripped the duvet off the bed and discovered two bed bugs crawling along the sheets. Not ever seeing bed bugs,I went down to reception and described the bug and yes they confirmed that it was indeed a bed bug. What continued to shock me is their lack of shock. They stated that they had seen it within the hotel on numerous occasions.I had the strage feeling that nothing would have been done to rectify this situation...
They instantly upgraded us to the executive suite and guaranteed that it was clean. The look of the room was a slight improvement however not by too much and the toilet did not flush properly however it gave us a place to rest our heads for the next day check out ! " |
