"The rooms were not very good, and the hotel is not in a good location if you plan to go to the center of the city. For the price you pay you would expect more!"

"Overall I would say very good D Gibbs"

"Good sized and clean room. Service good. Pool small. Breakfast normal for Thailand. Overall very good value. I will use it again next time I pass through Bangkok."

"This hotel was perfect for us, as we were only in Bangkok for a few days. It was close to transportation and also fairly close to airport. I would recommend people to stay here."

"I have stayed at this hotel 5 times and have been satisfied overall. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is excellent with various choices for all tastes. "

"Having stayed at the Regency Park some 10 times over the last 4 years I guess I'm something of a subject matter expert. Overall the location is great, the rooms are comfortable, good value for money and the breakfast is one of the best. Asia Rooms is a very reliable way of booking this and other hotels and I have no hesitation recommending them however, every time I stay at the Regency Park I say 'never again' but 'better the devil you know' pursuades me to go back and see what has changed (or not - as the case may be). Reception is always an uplifting experience. Ever thought, when checking into a hotel, that the staff were doing it for the first time ever? The Regency Park crew have perfected this guest experience. You know the feeling - booked over the Internet, printed off the 'confirmation', but have I got a bed for the night or am I buying a sleeping bag at the night market and sleeping in the park? The RP reception staff know how to fine tune that anxiety by making it seem that the on-line agent with your credit card details is probably a south american drugs baron, and pressing buttons on the key board of the hotel booking system in such a frenzy that you are convinced that they are contacting the Bangkok FBI to have you arrested for fraudulently accessing the establishment with a view to sleeping there without prior permission. Now check-out time at the RP is 11-00 am, with a complementary wake-up intrusion from the housekeeper at 7-00 am for those that thought check-out at 11 meant you could continue to occupy the bed after sunrise. Check-out itself is always fun - because RP offers so may goodies in the mini-bar, plus all sorts of slippers, dressing gowns etc that clearly every visitor is clearly expected by the RP to want to secure some of these items as illicit contraband. Its absolutely vital that a strip search of your room is completed before you are allowed to leave the premises. Now this may take time, and involve a slightly difficult conversaton regarding the status of your luggage with respect to housekeeping's expectations, but 45 minutes should see you safely through the RP's version of customs and emmigration. Tough though, if checking out of the hotel made you miss your flight, at least the hotel knows that you haven't escaped with that 200 Baht bathrobe that you never noticed was hanging on the back of your wardrobe door. In summary, the RP is a good hotel. Check-in and check-out is often (aka usually / always) a nightmare but once you have your room key (or escaped with your bill paid) it may feel worthwhle. Also - Thailand is one of the greatest countries on earth that everyone should visit at least once. Ian"

"Clean, decent hotel, located near two sky train stations. I would definitely stay there again. I could complain about the view from my window, or the funny smell in the corridors, but for me it was only a place to sleep, and as the rooms were big and clean and the reception staff very helpfull I will not. I think this hotel has all you can expect for the money you pay. Compering to prices in Europe a lot more."

"The hotel location is good - near a strip of bars, massage places and only 10-15 mins walk to the sky train. The hotel itself is quite old and the ambience is unpleasant. Interior design of the hotel makes the place look dark and gloomy. Bedroom has old blanket and aircon temperature can't be adjusted - either really cold or off. Towels in the bathroom are old and the bathroom itself is in need of renovation. Breakfast is nothing special - limited varieties and the food is of low to medium quality. Just don't expect much from the hotel. "
