| "Hotel is great, we have stayed here before and would return for a short stay. The Chinese Restaurant is outstanding and the service from the staff is second to none. The lobby bar is lovely and relaxing and the facilities are good too.
My only gripe of the actual room would be the bed and pillows.. the pillows were extremely firm and the bed was a little like sleeping on a brick! (that may be because i normally sleep on a memory foam mattress and soft feather pillows at home though!)
Overall though an excellent place to stay if you don't want to be in the centre of bangkok (it can take 30 mins to get into the centre of Bangkok from here, which is what we wanted and the taxi fare is only 120 - 150 baht (equiv to £2.50 approx) there is also a free shuttle bus from the hotel but you do have to reserve your seat." |

| "This hotel is perfect if you are interested in a quiet, relaxing stay. It is located in a fairly isolated area, but free shuttle service to the downtown Montien is provided. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Montien Riverside." |

| "Wonderful scenic location by the river and easy access. Excellent shuffle transport to downtown Patpong Road and back. However, hotel is showing its age and lack of modern facilities. (They still have normal room key entry system). Better value for money hotels in Bangkok." |

| "This was our second stay at the Montien Riverside and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The view from the rooms is absolutely stunning and always a changing scene, if you have time to spare you can watch the river and the boats on it for ages, very relaxing.
The staff at all levels were always very couteous, efficient and extremely helpful. The facilites were marvellous along with the breakfast which had a vast array of dishes that would suit any taste. The gym and fitness centre were great, very good equipment, but remember your gym shoes, I didn't and could not get in.
The only downside is the location, nothing outside the hotel to walk around, but shuttle bus and taxi's are readily available. This can also be an upside as you escape the madness of Bangkok and the hotel becomes a haven.
I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting it again." |

| "We stayed at the Montien Riverside from 8th to 11th May 2008. We were impressed by the facilities and service provided by staff. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent.
Only downside was the location but that is easily remedied by the frequent shuttle service - taxis are relatively cheap too although always book from the hotel as street taxis can sometimes try and bump the price up for tourists.
We had a slight problem just before arriving re our booking (which was the hotel's fault) but Asia Rooms sorted this out quickly and I would definitely use them again for holiday bookings." |
