| "I rarely use the room service, swimming pool, gym, etc in hotels, because I'm more interested in what is outside the hotel not inside it. The most important things for me are a clean, safe room with a good breakfast, and that it has easy access to the shops and department stores.
This hotel is perfect for me. It is affordable (but only when I can book it on the internet). It's expensive if I have to add an extra day or two at the reception, when I'm staying there, but that is the same with most hotels.
The sub-way trains station is an easy walk and are clean and safe and cheap. It's about 20 Baht, one way, to the big department stores (Carfour, Robinsons, Jusco, etc). You just have to make sure you take the correct exit.
The subway has connections to other trains in Thailand which is useful also.
If you get lost you can always catch a taxi back to the hotel. (I always carry their little business card map in my wallet.) I have stayed at a few hotels in Thailand and I think their breakfast is the best of all the hotels I have stayed in. Also although the breakfast is suppose to be finished at 10 am, they don't seem to mind if you stay there a little longer. I think it's a well managed hotel." |

| "We had two stays in the Chaophya Park, at the beginning and end of our trip, both in an executive suite. The suite was large, well appointed and kept extremely clean. There was a wide choice for breakfast although the service could have been better at times and the service at dinner was rather slow.
The staff were extremely friendly and obliging - we arrived for our second stay to find the Wifi in our room wasn't working and this was fixed immediately despite the late hour of our arrival.
Access to and from the airport is very good and the hotel is a short walk from two stations on the MTR, which links to the Skytrain, so is better located than it may appear. The relatively short additional time to reach places of interest was more than compensated for by the advantage of having a suite costing about the same as a room at one of the more conveniently located hotels.

| "The location of the hotel is quite far from downtown, but at least it's not too far to catch the subway. But the room really doesn't look like in their pictures, except the chair.Generally, don't expect too much." |

| "Wonderful hotel. Great value for money. Staff very polite and courteous. Room very spacious and the water pressure in the shower is excellent. Although location is quite far from the shopping area in sukumvit, the hotel is very near to the MRT Station (ratchadaphisek station is a 4/5 min walk). One-way ticket to Sukhumvit costs abt 30 baht. For those who wish to use taxi, plenty available on the main road. Had no trouble finding taxis. Although located on the a busy road, still very peaceful and quiet. Carrefour, Robinsons a 7-8 mins taxi ride away and costs about 50 baht.
The breakfast was included in our package and the choices were varied and plentiful. The breakfast timing was also very good for those having early tours, starting from 5AM.
All in all, very decent hotel and a great value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel to all. " |

| "I stayed here 4 nights in July 2008 with a couple of female friends and we had a fabulous time. We were a little anxious about the location given it was a little out of the downtown area, but the proximity to the Ratchadapisek subway station was fantastic, about 5-10 minutes easy walk, and then about 20 minutes on the very clean, modern and efficient subway to downtown where you can easily connect to Skytrain lines. It is true that there didn't seem to be much in the area in the way of restaurants or shopping, but this was not a problem for us as we'd head into the city early in the morning and spend all day keeping busy, have dinner and then head back to the hotel in the evening. We were extremely happy with this hotel, great value for money, clean and comfortable." |
