| "My wife and I stayed at the Bel-Aire Princess for 11 nights. Overall the Hotel is very nice. Not too large so to loose the personal touch but big enough for everything you need. Our Delux room was huge and we did not feel the walls closing in even after almost 2 weeks there. The room was equiped with excellent air conditioning, a safe, fridge, arm chairs, T.V, and a king size bed. The bathroom was a little shabby compared to the renovated room but was still clean and fully functional with great hot water and pressure in the shower. Our room was services professionally and had turn down service every night.
The location is second to none. The soi where the Bel-Aire is located is quiet, far enough away from the main street to make it nice and quiet and the Skytrain is only a five min. walk away. There are many restaurants and bars in walking distance and as it is in 'Little Arabia' there are quite a few Middle Eastern restaurants around also.
The buffet breakfast does not change at all so can get a bit boring but the food was of good quality. Drinks can be a bit expensive in the bar but again there are many options out of the hotel.
Overall I would say that we fully enjoyed staying at the Bel-Aire and would stay again.

| "Like most Thai hotels staff are mostly polite and helpful but in doing so here seem to have been over trained to cater for Amertican travelers, who have different wants and needs to the average european on holiday.
Fof example you are hardly in the dining room for breakfast when they want to know how you want your eggs cooked and do you want coffee?,no thanks we will tell you later,The piece of paper you need to describe how you want your eggs cooked is expressed in American jargon, well all I want is two "fried eggs" and people were cooking fried eggs thousands of years before America was diacovered, also most Europeans like to have fruit first, and a fruit drink, before coffee or tea.
I need to say when we ordered and got our tea it was very nicely served in a matching tea set.
Also despite the fact they go to the trouble of putting cooked food in chaffing dishes or a bain maree the food is almost always cold due to the fact the lids are left open [at Bel Aire Princess by the staff] or there is no heat turned on.
Further we wanted to have a look at some of the other rooms to see what was available in case we were to come back, this was too hard for the front desk staff to handle without a confirmed date.
The lifts also are a preoblem very slow and small and with many Arab people in the hotel the children like to play games with the lifts ie pushing all the buttons so it stops at every floor and they jump out before the lift starts.
Some things are beyond the the hotel management control but with a little effort and thought this hotel would improve to the standard they aspire to. " |

| "This is an excellent hotel, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. I had a great stay, and found all the facilities of excellent quality.
It is in an excellent position in Soi 5 which is relatively quiet, yet close to Sukhumvit Road, giving access to many areas of BKK, via the sky train. The entertainment districts are also very close by. " |
