| "very convenient to the airport.(20mins). restaurant is very good value. hotel a little away from the city centre but adjacent to a large shopping mall. pool very nice. beds were very solid. overall the hotel when booked on Asiarooms.com was exceptionally good value." |

| "A hotel for budget-minded travellers which is close to the airport. Is also in walking distance of a large shopping mall. Complimentary breakfast was very adequate. Our dinner we ate in the restaurant was very well priced and very acceptable." |

| "This is a budget priced hotel convenient to the airport. We spent the night after arrival to Thailand and then again the night before departing. The price was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was very close to a large shopping centre. " |

| "We did not like the location. Although listed under "Airport", this hotel is at least 30-45 minutes away on taxi. Bangkok traffic in the area was horrible. Also Central Bangna Mall is 15 minutes taxi ride away, not within walking distance. Otherwise the hotel is fine, nice AC, overall clean, good breakfast and friendly staff." |

| "This is a reasonably priced hotel with average or above average service & amenities. It's adequate for a transition hotel while traveling, but not as a destination hotel. I was a little disappointed in the taxi service located in the lobby; they overcharged for their services and failed to follow through on ordering a taxi on time for our departure, even though we prepaid it." |

| "I'll begin with some positives of the hotel: My room was spacious and had the usual amenities, and the breakfast buffet was good--that's about it. Unfortunately, there were more negatives such as a strange, unpleasant odor in the room, the airconditioning unit didn't work properly, the walls were too thin to were you could hear everything said in the adjacent room, and,like everyone else says, the hotel is too far from the rest of the city. The low cost of the hotel is completely offset by its location. This is the biggest reason not to stay there. Plus, if you use the taxi service provided by the hotel, they grossly overcharge you by about twice as much as the typical metered taxi would cost. Based on this, I absolutely cannot recommenrd anyone staying at the Avana Hotel." |

| "Since i arrived new BKK airport was around 11.30pm, so the traffic was smooth. It took around 20minutes to reach Avana. The taxi driver didn't run meter and ask for 300bahtt. But i think it cost max 250bahtt only.
Worth to stay if intend to go crocodile farm and ancient city.
