"1. Since only 1 person stays there why am i charge for two person rate ? My breakfast for two should be waive and only charge for one person rate. 1.Bathroom got no toothbrush . 2.Bathroom got no tooth paste . 3.Hotel rate is expensive despite the convenient location i want to go. 4. Buffet is ok . "

"The best feature of this hotel is that it is connected DIRECTLY through a second floor bridge to the Bangkok SKYTRAIN's Ratchatewi station. You avoid the busy Phayathai Street below and also avoid Bangkok's bumper to bumper traffic and gridlock, getting to anywhere in Bangkok in a couple of minutes. The hotel itself is old, but quite clean. The front desk was very professional and business like. We were five in our tour group and we appreciated the individual card keys issued to each of us. Other hotels will only give you one room card key so its a hassle to ask if someone got hold of the room key. Breakfast buffet was adequate and filling although nothing fantastic. Avoid the vietnamese restaurant on the second floor. The food is a rip-off for the price we paid. "

"The only complaint is that there were small tiny spiders on the bed. but we would reccomend this hotel to other travellers. food good, service good, proximity to shops great.bed comfortable, bath lovely."

"Just spent 5 nights at the Asia Hotel Bangkok, this was my 3rd stay here over the past 2 years,I find the location perfect as it is a 10min walk one way to M.B.K. and 10min walk the other to Pratinum wholesale market,so that covers shopping, also the skytrain can be accessed through hotel which makes getting around easy.I only ever stay standard and the rooms are always clean, staff is always friendly, used the pools first time this visit and they were great.Breakfast is always fresh and plenty of. What else can say"

"It is a good hotel to stay at and is very handy to all the major shopping centres. And every member of the staff were very helpfull."

"The hotel overall look old and smell mouldy.. badly in need of a facelift or some renovation/cleaning work. The only good point is it is so convenient as the train station is link to the hotel - you literally can go anywhere by hopping onto the train. One of the reception staff was very rude, she literally shouted at me. My opinion - It is a huge hotel, with some work to upgrade the room i'll be most willing to pay more!"

"very old/out of date furniture and general deco. Room had stain of cigarettes in the bathroom. the room was rather dirty and not very welcoming. the swimming pool -one of the main reason we chose this hotel- was small and over all very unwelcoming. for the same price - or little more- the standard can be much better. for the same price -or nearer- i have stayed in much better places around thailand and bangkok. i would not go back to this hotel and i will not recommend to anyone."

"Amenites were sufficient---Included breakfeast was good, exceeded asian standards. The only thing lacking was hot water most of the time, there was hot water every now and then, on the morning we left I let shower run 25 minutes never even got up to room temp, stayed chilly to touch. Also plumbing is unvented so every time you flush or drain sink the other drain traps get sucked dry (slurrrp).I would recomend for the budget travler, after all who needs hot water in a sweltering country. However if you are the type who demands luxury items such as hot water, I would look elsewhere---Steve Stewart,Alaska,USA"

"Because it is linked to the skytrain station, I have always opted to stay in Asia Hotel each time I visit Bangkok for vacation. Hotel has since been refurbished and they have replaced the heavy room key with cardkey. Room is clean and spacious. Room service is also prompt when I requested for an adaptor and additional pillows. However, the menu for buffet breakfast needs improvement. For instance, they could also include bee hoon in their menu instead of just alternating between kuay teow or yellow noodles. The hotel taxi service to airport is also very expensive - they quoted us 950THB for 2 pax. We decided to hail one from the road in front of the hotel. Fortunately, just when we were about to leave the hotel, a metered taxi had just alighted a tourist. The helpful hotel bellboy helped us to load our luggages into the taxi and we tipped him 20THB and I could tell from his facial expression that he was thankful. We took the same taxi to the airport and the total taxi fare came up to just 230THB. "
