| "I have been booking Hotel rooms through Asiarooms.com for the past 3 years - reason being it is able to give very good rates and fast service. I have tried other websites before but none of them can match that of Asiarooms.com for geting value-for money Hotel rooms in Asia. There is even a case where I got the room from Asiarooms.com when the other website had told me the reservations for the hotel are full.
Response time from Asiarooms.com are fast and sometimes I can get hotel rooms in the last minute.
I would be using Aisarooms.com for hotel room reservations in all my future travels." |

| "The most important requirement that Asiarooms fulfills is that the booking of rooms is done easily and efficiently.
The next is that rooms are easily located and sortable into price categories and star ratings.
The best thing about Asiarooms is the honest reviews given by travellers. It lessons the difficulty of choosing hotels among the bewildering choices we are confronted with. The reviews, even when they contradict one another, paint an honest and truthful picture of the hotel because they allow the reader to read in between the lines.
To improve Asiarooms, I can suggest that you up the 'human contact factor' wherever possible. For example, when corresponding with customers via email, let there be a name that signs off. Try not to give the impression that an email reply has been 'automatically generated'. The actual truth is that many things are NOT automatically generated, so why give the impression that they are? My recent review of the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo was no doubt read and vetted by a human reader, so when I received a nice email this morning to say that my review has been posted on Asiarooms, why did this email have to sound so anonymous?
I compare this with a friendly email I received from the people who handled my online Mt Fuji/Hakone booking. There was a name at the bottom of that email and I felt I was dealing with an actual human being (I am sure I was, because the English was individual and so it had a personality). I had submitted, online, my concern that my booking might not have gone through successfully as I had experienced a glitch in the system. Lo and behold, I got a response shortly after from a human being, who told me that I was right - my booking had not gone through. She asked if I could try again. This is the kind of thing I value in this day and age of anonymously-generated responses from computers.
So yes, do 'up' this human touch element whenever and wherever you can. This is what would make you stand out from your competition.
And yes, I would use Asiarooms again. My Japan trip was the second time I had used Asiarooms, and both experiences were positive because of the ease and efficiency. This 'bottomline' expectation had been clearly met.
