| "The standard room is very basic with just a tv, hairdryer and aircon. The shower is good and works nicely. The staff were quite friendly. The place has a stale cigarette smoke kind of smell to it though. Also, currently (October '08) there is a building site behind the hotel and you're not likely to get much sleep after 7am due to the workmen and their machinery making a lot of noise.
It's quite cheap and you do get what you pay for. If you're looking for somewhere just to rest your head and go out all of the days and evenings, then this place isn't bad value for money." |

| "As budget hotels go, this place is fine and will take some beating. the problem of the area is, of course, the 'ladies of the night' (most of whom are quite delectable). Should this problem get ironed out, then the budget hotels in the area will be full to capacity.

Very small[small wife and large hus doing twostep]
Good food on the street.
Next time we will take one closer to the train station." |

| "I spent six nights at this hotel few days back and I must say, overall, I was very impressed. Especially, considering the amount of money we had to spent, indeed it is a good place to stay. Rooms are not very big but very clean and enough for two people, staffs are quite frank as well.Only problem with this hotel could be its location from the nearest MTR station. It takes around 20-30 min by walk. Since most of the time we were taking taxi I really did not find this as a big problem. Finally I would like to thanks the hotel staff for making my trip wonderful." |

| "Overall outlook of the hotel81 Opera is good.We felt welcome when we were at the lobby.The staffs were nice. The location of the hotel is however, not really good as it gets pretty noisy(it's along the road). Price wise, it's very reasonable indeed.." |
