"Arrived and quickly checked in. The rrom we were given was right behind all the lifts! Went down and asked for another room away from the lifts and was given one straight away at the opposite end of the floor to noisy lifts - marvellous. Had a great breakfast and enjoyed the pool and poolside bar. Great hotel if you dont want to go all the way into the city and are just having an 'overnight' journey break. "

"I've highlighted to hotel when did the booking that we are honeymooner and request for king size bed, but they gave twin beds!! we only find out when get into the room and request for change. 1 day before check in, I called to the hotel to ask about breakfast as we will check out at 4AM, the operator said we can let them know earlier and they can prepare for take-away / room service. But at check-in time, I asked the customer service, he kept saying cannot!! they do not have that kind of service. I think this is typical singapore customer service! "

"The hotel is located near the airport, it has a free shuttle during the day to and from the airport. Upon arrival they did not have the specifications that I reserved so they offered me an upgrade. The breakfast was included but since I left the hotel at 4:00 am, they had somebody bring me down from the restaurant some sandwiches and water so I could take it with me, I though that was a really nice gesture. The staff was very nice and helpfull. Overall a GREAT hotel if you want to stay for the night near the airport if you dont want to stay at the Airport Hotel. "

"This hotel needs to get its act together. Upon arrival we were given a key which did not work the lift or our room - nor did the second key! It took four requests and almost six hours to get any cups in our room - finally sorted by standing over reception and refusing to leave until the cups arrived!! Our bathroom had a small and dangerous step leading out of it. This step could easily not be noticed so people trip on it. It was difficult to sleep in our room due to the smell of fresh carpet and glue as they had been refurbishing lower floors the previous month. Outside our room it looked like the house-keeping store room with furniture, beds, etc stacked all along it. The reception area looked quite good from a distnce but on close inspection the furniture and carpets were grubby. The breakfast room had variety but it was mostly Asian food. Also the location was a bit down and out with a seedy looking shopping mall attached to the hotel. On the plus side the porters on the front door were excellent. "

"Well located for overnight on way to and from Australia, but getting a little tired and overpriced for the standard. A singapore Airlines stopover can get you top of the dwarwer hotels cheaper than I paid for the "Delux" room."

"An excellent facility in a good position. Easy to access from the airport. It will be even better once the renovations are complete. Dinner & breakfast were huge buffet style meals."

"I stayed Grand Mercure Roxy for one night with my wife and two children. My family enjoied the breakfast served by this hotel. The breakfast was very good. Next day morning, I went out around this hotel with my wife and found a street market, where we bought some valuable and cheap products. I really enjoied the staying at this hotel."
