"This is a good hotel to stay in if you are in Singapore for a convention or other business which will keep you out and about 18+ hours a day and just need a rack to sleep on. It is conveniently located; close to the train line and in an interesting older area of Singapore. A wide variety of food readlly available in the area."

"I personally feel this hotel more suitable for guys stay and looking for extreme budgeted type. Not recommended for group of girls, love couple or family stay. Some will feel uneasy with area surrounding especially after sun goes down. The room size is ok but look very old feeling, cleaniness fine, have all basic needs. "

"I ideal for budget and short stay travellers would stay again . Good location for MRT and airport."

"The hotel is in the red light district, so you get what you expect, but it wasnt as bad as other reviews made it sound. The room was small but adequate given you are not there to spend time in the hotel and the MTR is a 5-10 min walk - easy enough even with a pack. Overall I would probably rather have been in the Chinatown area, but this was cheap, good value for money and the MTR makes everything fairly close."

"Great if you want a cheap room for overnight transiting and you are not fussy as long as the sheets are clean!"

"Friendly staff, clean room, handy to bus, not far from the MRT, good value for money. Although in a red light area, there are no problems. I would consider staying there next trip"

"This hotel was okay but the Fragrance Crystal is much better."

"The hotel is located at Geylang, the heart of Singapore's red light district. Though the road facing the hotel is quieter than the other Lorongs ahead one can find prostitutes under the building right opposite to the hotel. The hotel rooms seem to end as soon as you enter and are only fit for back packers or for bringing women for a short stint. I guess all the hotels in this area have been made primarily to serve the purpose of people who want to have a quickie. No room service, no bell boys, no extra pillows/blankets. The personnel at the front desk aren't very hospitable and flexible as they know at the price and the location they will always have people coming in..."
