A few things wrong with the room eg. safe not working, kettle broken etc but they fixed it within 5 minutes...
But could probably be cheaper as it's not exactly 5 star - prob 4 star...

| "Well, the blanks above cannot be filled on my computer. However, I did think the hotel was extremely overprices, especially it's food, it was nearly impossible to have a meal for less than $50 - $100 for a couple. The personnel were not particularly friendly, the room was small (i had a room for 3, supposedly), and it took nearly 20 minutes to get a taxi in front, because of their security and hailing method. I stayed at Apo View hotel also, which was a wonderful hotel, beautiful rooms, excellent friendly service, a gorgeous garden grounds, delicious affordable room service, and the bill was less than half the cost per day. I would rate the Apo View equal or better than Marco Polo. THanks for the opportunity to comment." |

| "We were very disappointed when we come back home and check our Credit Card bill and found that Marco Polo Hotel charged us an extra $40.00 for a second bed to be put in our room.
We had booked a Deluxe room for 3 adults for $120 prepaid through you. The $40 charge was made on our credit card and they did not explain they were going to add an extra room charge to us for the second bed. They could have just changed us to another room with 2 beds.
We feel like we were ripped off by this Hotel and will NOT stay there again. Our Voucher from you said they were NOT supposed to charge us any extra Room charge.

| "Room facilites and service are great. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Security is very intense here. This includes body pat down around whenever entering the hotel. Maybe a metal detector can better deal with this part. Personally, I don't enjoy body pat downs when I'm paying for services. Other than that, the hotel maintains excellent standards." |
