| "The best possible base in Kathmandu. Excellent location, only 10 minutes walk to Tamel where you can find everything. Easy to get a meterd-taxi and plenty of honest money changers around the hotel. Extremely friendly staff from the doorman to the manager. As my wife and I mentioned that we were on honeymoon we were upgraded to a junior suite and received a nice card with a chocolate cake. Very nice touch! The hotel facilities and restaurants are clean and good. Wi-Fi internet access in the room is a bit expensive tough. Much cheaper to walk to Tamel and go to an internet café. After our trip upcountry we wanted to return to the Radisson. Unfortunately it was full, but the local agent managed to find us an alternate hotel (the Hyatt Regency, nice, but too far) at the same internet rate, which was much lower than the published rate. Really excellent!" |

| "Excellent View of the serene surroundings, so make suyre you request for high floors (5 or higher)
Very good service in general, in-room Ethernet still upgrading. Unfortunately did not get one of those... Offered 700 Nepalese Rupees for Dial-up (about 28kbps) for 24 hours... same price as the In-room Ethernet Connections! But wondered at what connection speed though... " |
