"All I have to say is that I made a big mistake in choosing this hotel for my stay. The Rooms were stinky, the bathroom was having leaky pipes. My Impression about this place was much below expectations. Good thing is excellent location and excellent breakfast."

"Good location, very helpful staff, they should review the breakfast, quality to be improved"

"I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL FOR A TWO NIGHTS, EVEN THOUGH IT’S WORK THE MONEY I PAID, BUT BIT MOODY TYPE HOTEL ATMOSPHERE, MAY BE GOOD FOR THOSE WHO STAY HERE FOR ONE NIGHT, THERE IS NOTHING MUCH TO DO IN THIS HOTEL, FOOD WISE NOT IMPRESSIVE AND THE PRICES ARE HIGH THAN QUALITY, IF YOU STAY IN THIS HOTEL YOU MIGHT REGRET FOR YOUR ALL VISIT IN THE NEPAL, THERE IS OTHER HOTEL AND GUESTHOUSE IN THE SAME AREA MUCH BETTER AND REALLY CHEAPER TO COMPARE TO THIS HOTEL, I WOULD NOT RECOMMENDED TO ANY COUPLE OR FAMILIES TO THIS HOTEL. "The staff were helpful, and the location good....however, the menu was poor and the food hygiene needs to be reviewed by the management."

"we stayed for 4nights in a delux room. the staff was very polite and greated us everytime we passed by. the furnish is kinda old but clean. the room size is spacious. breakfast selection wasn't that much but they do change the spread daily. the games played in the casino was disappointing, however, there's complimentry food and drinks 24hrs. Walking distance to Thamel and there's shops and eatery once you step out of the hotel."

"Wonderful stay"

"good hotel, a bit old in many things, mainly the bathroom, not very comfortable due to this. Services in hotel are good but very very expensive, like 8 times of what you coul find outside, so you will always should search for anything out the hotel. Restaurants looks good but prices and food not. Rooms in very good size and personal in hotel very nice. From 1 to 10 I give a 7."

"I didn't have a good experience. The hotel is extremely well located in the heart of the city. I will give it that. I had paid for regular rooms. They were dingy and smelt of mold. We complained bitterly and the hotel staff showed us several other rooms. All of them had the smell and the mold problem. The carpets were disgusting. This hotel needs a major upgrade. We bought a room spray to get thru our stay. I have to say the staff tried everything they could. Finally they upgraded us to the deluxe rooms. That was a completely different experience. The rooms were airy and big and did not smell at all. Unfortuantely, Asiarooms does not give you a choice of room types in this hotel. The views from the rooms are nothing to write hoom about. BUT, the food and the restaurants in his hotel are GREAT! And I have to say so are the staff. I would probably go next time to the Yak and Yeti for my money."

"Not having any expectations of what hotels in Kathmandu will be like, I would say the hotel is okay for the money. The lobby of the hotel is grand and nice. If they can only do some maintenance work to the hallway and the rooms such as: - new carpet; - new coat of paint to the doors; - new linens; - new bathroom fixtures."

"Well, for Nepal (and according to the Nepalis) this is a "very good" and "expensive" hotel. Yes, for Nepal it was good. On the other hand... this hotel seems a little bit boring in the evening, there where a lot of people from India with a lot of children and sometimes they made a lot of noise till late, the room was OK but nothing special for such a hotel, to go somewhere (f.e. the Thamel area or Durbar Square) you have to walk a while. The breakfast was OK. The lobby looks nice. The bar looks nice, but is a bit boring too. The hotel is OK, but don't expect a real super 5-star hotel. If I will go to Kathmandu again, I will probably stay here again, because it is not really bad and for Nepal a very good hotel. Before this hotel, I was in an other hotel (Vaishali) and the quality of this hotel (de l'Annapurna) is better. I think this is one of the best options in Kathmandu."
