| "No slippers provided. When asked the counter to get a metered taxi, they refused. Slow check in. Lack of smile at the check in counter. Not too many choice of breakfast, not a western style. High price internet and non-workable internet cable. Broken shower head knob." |

| "It was easy to locate, place was not overwhelming with too many people, nice cozy room but noticed a bulb in the toilet was not functioning, booking through the internet was flawless however i rushed to check in at 1500hrs only to have to wait for the room as it was not ready. After i insisted that i wanted to put my baggage in the room then only i was given an alternate room, im strict with timing as I was in transit for a day there, nevertheless my request for a non-smoking room and a king size bed was met, for that i thank you
P.S: Encourage the staff to smile more no one wants to be greeted with a serious facial gesture :)
cheers!" |

| "We arrived 2 hours late (after 2pm check-in) and the room available was fortunately already made up (after a lengthy call to check) - I got a king size bedroom although a queen was requested; that was good. The staff at the lobby was friendly and helped us get another room as we did not want the original room assigned to us on the high floor - a smoking level.
The main complaints I had are the slightly musky smell of the corridor as well as the noisy bathroom flushing system. The TV, fridge and bathtub shower is functional and the typical movie and news channels are available... there was no toothbrush set in the room but I easily requested for one - it came late the next morning though.
The location is a short walk away from the 6-7 story Sogo shopping mall - which was a plus point. You can also hop onto the nearby train station.
The approach by car was tedious (especially when approaching from the north to south road parallel to the canal - because the right turn at the Sogo mall is extremely jammed up with traffic on the weekday). The hotel car park is ok - free parking daily after validating your ticket at the lobby. You can come and go as you please. Driving out from the hotel is easy as you can reach Kuching Rd very conveniently and either head north or south from there.
The breakfast at the hotel was reasonably good. I liked the omelette which was cooked on the spot for you. I liked the nasi lemak type spread... What else was there? Uhmm... there was also cereal, orange and apple juice at the Benteng. I was also given a welcome drink coupon... but never used it because I was told the drink is the same as what was available at breakfast. The Benteng was not really too crowded at breakfast time contrary to what I read in the reviews.
The hotel also has a karaoke and dim sum restaurant but I never utilised these.
Finally, I used the gym located on the 19th floor. It comes equipped with a treadmill (poor shape), two bicycles and stepper (ok shape), some free weights, a kickboxing station, a multi-station bench with fixed weights. The 19th floor also has a squash court, two dry sauna rooms (for male and female), as well as a place to bath. A jacuzzi room was not operating. Nobody was at the gym except one other person who left when I arrived... note that no attendent mans the place, so you must bring your own towel. It gets quite creepy at night (all you hear is the elevator's engine), so don't come alone.
I saw the swimming pool on the 3rd floor but never used it... it seemed a bit small but functional.
That's it. Mixed feelings for me... but I guess I am not too fussy." |

| "Great location to get around to everything.
Friendly and helpful staff, Great breakfast Variety & quantity. We will deafinately stay here again.
The hotel is oldish but is kept clean and in good order.
(The plumbing is noisy so if you are a light sleeper you may want to avoid this hotel)
Close proximity to KL Central transit centre." |

| "Hi,
the room service was ok, also the dinners were good (ony one problem was the number of free places), during the two days it was hard to find a free place to sit (but it was probably because of the weekend).
It would be also nice to add some additional movie channnels :)
In the general everything was ok.
Regards,
Leszek Opalinski

| "Me and my girldfriend really enjoy our stay during the christmas holidays at this hotel. It has nice rooms, friendly staff and nice resturants (even though when we were there one of the resturants was closed due to renovation). The location was very good, close to several shopping centers and 5-10 min drive by taxi to Petronas twin towers. " |
