"The streets around the hotel are dirty. No shopping areas in the vicinity. A small cockroach was found in bathroom. No provision of toothpaste & hair dryer. Cigarette ends were floating in the water of swimming pool. The front desk staff provides very poor and unsatisfactory services."

"Overall this hotel is ok.maybe good for a traveller who wont be staying all the time in the room. unfortunately i had a bad experienced in this hotel, but the management solved my problems successfully in a professional way."

"We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and have alway found the staff, facilities and location to be very good, indeed."

"the rooms were basic and clean.two of our three rooms had the view of the twin towers.the hotel is located in the older parts of kl.shops and public transport was nearby within walking distance.the resturant serves both local and western breakfast.the lobby and resturant were renovated recently.the rooms needs new work done.location is one side of kl.taxi drivers were a pain to deal with.fixed prices when they had meters.rooms needs to be serviced regulary,as one room the aircon was overflowing with water. "It was very disapointing stay - mostly because the hotel was recomended on the portal as hot deal and shortly after renovation (!?!). The only place showing some signs of renewing was the lobby but at our floor we had the impression to enter a different world. The carpet not only in the corridor but in the room as well was dirty with big stains everywhere. There were only two towels in the room and they were not changed every day which is very inconvenient in such climate - they were still wet at the evening. We heve asked for two more but they've never reached our room. On top of everything we have killed a... bug in the bathroom. Food was not very good and the service often had problems with replenishment and cleaning - the eating area was a little bit sticky and crumby. The only advantage of thes hotel is the localisation - walking distance (5-7 min) to the train station."

"breakfast is only so-so but like the idea of fresh omelettes being served room is comfortable"
2/5  Posted by MR. PUROHIT, Nitin, India in May 2008
"The Rooms are good, the brekfast served is also very good ! also everyone is courteous. However the Chowkit street behind the Hotel is a red light area & also when enquired they said that pick pocketers & drug dealers reside in there. This place is very good to stay for the tourists who will commute with the taxi. For the people who will commute by bus this is not recommended."

"Overall our stay at Citrus was average. The price for the hotel was mainly what attracted us to it as it less than half price than the other hotels in KL. Be aware that this hotel is not located in the main part of the KL city, rather 3-4 train/monorail stops away from Bintang Walk, Chinatown, Towers. Public transport is located very close to the hotel though approx 3 minute walk and the actual journey will only take another 3 minutes. Approx price for travel is RM$4 so still cheaper than a taxi. The hotel is good if you want to be close enough to the city but also want some peace and quiet. While the lobby and restaurant downstairs is modern and visually appealing, the actual hallway and rooms themselves are much older and in need of an upgrade. "

"The hotel employees were not too friendly in the beginning but I a few were very nice. The price was a bargain. The couple of employees I dealt with were very friendly. For breakfast, slow to refill and some of the dishes were not refilled at all. On the whole, we had a pleasant stay. "

"Nice, wellpriced and sentral. Only 5min cab from the Twin Tower Shopping Center"
