| "The room was really tiny. Although the hotel was not running full-house, they were not willing to upgrade my twin bed to a double bed. Told them that I'm travelling with an infant so it's more comfortable for us to be in a double bed room but they said, can upgrade you only if you pay. This is not the kind of service I received from other Tokyo hotels. They've been very accomodating and always willing to upgrade room even without being asked.
The hotel location is very near the station. Merely 5 minutes walk but there aren't any exciting things around the hotel. Would definitely recommend vistors to stay in Shinjuku area instead. Easily accessible to all shopping belt and of course the various types of public transport - airport limo, JR, Odakyu, etc." |

| "Great location (2 minute walk from the station), good price, helpful staff who mostly speak excellent English, good facilities, tiny rooms by Western standards but normal for Japanese. Huge view of Shinigawa railtracks, so rooms in the main tower are a trainspotter's paradise!" |

| "Looked good by the internet but this hotel is not the nice Shinagawa Prince hotel; though officially connected, it is a very average "business hotel" attached to the nice one. For this, it is not a great deal." |

| "We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We have 2 adults and a 9 year old boy. The location is perfect. Just across the street from Shinagawa Station. The facility is excellent. There is an 80 lanes 10-pin bowling in the complex and an Aquarium next door. The weather is nice during our stay; otherwise, we will go to these indoor facilities if it rains. Restaurants and shopping mall at the door step. Comparing to Shinjuku, this area is a bit quiet at night. If you want excitment or nightlife, you should consider Shinjuku area instead. We have paid and asked for renovated room on the main tower. It has not been renovated as we expected. But the room is clean and tidy. The ultra modern bedroom shows on the website photos are the top few floors only. I guess they are even more expensive. The room is small but this is a Japanese business hotel. If you want bigger rooms, you should consider those pricy western hotel. One complain about the bathroom is the smell. I don't know if this occurs at every bathroom or just ours. This urinal smell can be found at some subway station. The hotel staffs are very helpful and they speak English too. In general, it's worth the money. We have also considered Tanakawa Price hotel in the same area; however, there is quite a bit walking up the hill to the hotel complex. That's one reason we have chosen Shinagawa Prince." |
