"The beds could be a bit longer. Otherwise the room was excelent. Thank you very much for the pleasnt hosting Paul"

"we stayed at the old part of the hotel. Among us we called it the Shabby Hotel. It was quite worn-out and the airconditioning when it was turnend on, gave a terrible smell. So we shut it down immediately. Maybe the renovated rooms on the other side were better. The big advantage was that it was very quite. Location was not quite central, but still good to travel around. There is Mc Donald, Starbuck, 7 eleven nearby. The staff were polite and helpful. For the kids: Tokyo Tower and Pokemon center. "

"Conveniently located to stations, convenience stores. Very clean, pleasant staff."

"For Tokyo good deal and fairly decent location with great beef bowl and ramen places nearby! cheap eats for Jap land."
3/5  Posted by MRS. BUDDE, Angela, United States in July 2007
"We stayed in the older main section of the hotel which was kind of depressing. The carpets are in dire need of replacement (they were filthy) and the walls were pretty dirty as well. We heard that the Annex is the building to request to stay in since it is the newest area. That was the only down side. . . The up side was the staff at this hotel - every single staff member we encountered was awesome! We were especially impressed with the 2 concierges that we used. They were so helpful with their knowledge base and the work they put into making the first 6 days of our 16-day Japan trip awesome and stress free!"

"We (a 'senior' couple) stayed in the main building. The room was a very comfortable size. We were able to leave two large suitcases on stands in the room without difficulty. Building is showing signs of wear and tear but was clean and everything worked properly. Amenties fine. Service first class. Good access to subway; reasonable to JR. Close to Shiba Park. Good access to mini supermarkets and restaurants. Served directly by Narita Airport Limousine bus. Decent value.Would happily stay there again. Recommended."
3/5  Posted by MR. LEHTOVIRTA, Jaakko, Finland in July 2007
"Good breakfast, friendly service and fair location close to two train/metro lines, although in an uninteresting area. Experience was, however, spoiled by a room badly in need of refurbishing. Airconditioning could not keep out the June humidity, and the dark little room remained damp day and night. Wouldn't give them another try before renovation."

"Was in a really good location and staff were really friendly - they even gave us umbrellas when it rained!"
4/5  Posted by MR. REPLOGLE, Daniel, United States in June 2007
"We liked the location. It was a short walk from the train station. We liked the restaurants nearby and the restaurants in the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel were, by my standards, a bit pricey. The staff was very kind and helpful. One negative thing was the AC was not working properly our entire stay. The room was a bit warm. No adjustment was given because the AC wasn't working. I thought that was not a smart business move."

"Carpet and walls were dirty. furnitures need to be painted. minibar was empty."
