| "Great location; close to Ueno station so the whole of Tokyo and beyond easily accessible. Loads to see and do in the area; walkable but subway, trains and buses all on the doorstep too. Lots of great budget price restaurants around with some very tasty Japanese and non-Japanese food. Love the hotel's clear information on room cleaning, towel service e.t.c. Friendly staff. Free internet. Good Japanese style breakfast. Only one quibble, a ramp for suitcases would be good, as the steps are few into the hotel but not great with bags." |

| "This is a great little hotel - very clean, quiet, comfortable and a convenient, easy location. Its in a quiet street a 5-10 min walk to the main Ueno station and shopping/restaurant area, or two mins from the subway - an easy base for Tokyo sightseeing. The staff were very charming, polite, friendly and helpful. Free internet access and the very reasonable buffet breakfast included in the room rate were a bonus. " |

| "This hotel is by far the best hotel I ever spent my time in. This hotel is a bit hidden but the location is great it's very close to Ueno station as well as a closeby subway station which can take you anywhere you want in Tokyo easily.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and a few of them could speak english as well which is the main problem for people visiting Japan encountering japanese who can't speak much english.
I would strongly recommend this hotel for travellers that is not looking for a super expensive hotel but a hotel for a reasonable penny.
It was worth every single we spent. Highly recommended." |

| "The Chisun Hotel Ueno was great! Only a 5-10 minute walk to Ueno JR Station which is one of the main stations in Tokyo. The hotel was very clean and modern (recently renovated) and the staff exceptionally helpful and spoke conversational English. The room was a lot larger than others I have stayed in throughout Japan, espeically for Tokyo. They also have free internet access in the lobby. Ueno is not the centre of action in Tokyo, but it is only a short JR ride away from other major centres. I would definately stay there again and recommend it to others. " |

| "Very convenient being in Ueno with all its attractions including museums, parks (and blossom). Very close to Inaricho station, Ginza line, and walking distance from Ueno Keisei Station for Narita airport and Ueno JR. In a quiet back street. Staff helpful though little English. Breakfast Japanese buffet but has cereal, toast, croissants, and coffee. Lots of nearby cheap cafe/restaurants. Ethernet internet in rooms. Studio twins are deluxe single rooms with an extra single bed squeezed in. Size is very typical for Tokyo." |
