| "i just visited osaka from the 8th to 14th of december this year. and my stay at the sheraton miyako was comfortable and very convenient. there is 2 subway stations (kintetsu line and uhehomachi 9 chome) located within walking distance. sevice was good and prompt. check-ed in early at 8am but hotel staff gladly offered to keep the luggage wile my family and i went sightseeing before returning in the evening. room service was prompt and efficient, offered complimentrary mineral water, located beside the kintetsu dpartment store, so if you need a quick bite you can go to the food mall below the department store which sells a wide variety of jap food. and a 24hr convenience store is just beside the hotel. most important to me is there is a direct bus service from KIX ( bus No.7) cost 1300 yen and this bus brings you driectly to and fro from KIX. buffet selection was pretty good. strongly recommended to stay." |

| "The room was very small and the bathroom was just one piece of plastic, it would need a "face lift". The city is large and therefore location depends on what one wants to see. It has a subway and train station very close by. The staff was friendly. " |

| "Location of Hotel was very convenient. Train station just out side and Subway just a short walk. Subway was a very easy way to get around. The staff spoke fairly good English which helped although there were no maps or sight seeing information available at the Hotel which was a little disappointing. You have to go to the Tourist information centres.
The room was clean but was one that had not yet been renovated, it had a cubicle style bathroom very small, but served it's purpose. We were in room with a King size bed which was quite spacious. The breakfast had a selection of every thing which was nice.
The Hotel is linked with the Kansai airport bus service. Cost is 1300 yen, tickets are available from vending machine to the left when you exit the Hotel. It takes about 50 minutes to get to Kansai airport.

| "The Sheraton Miyako room which I stayed in was old and not renovated. I was very dissapointed unfortunately.
The bathroom would have been 30years old and the shower curtain was so old fashioned. It should be rated as a 1 star hotel, not worthy as a Sheraton.
The hotel staff could hardly speak English, so it was very difficult to communicate.
I am not sure if there were any renovated rooms, but mine wasn't. It was like a poor quality best western.
Thank you
