The rooms are spacious and cozy. The water pressure in the shower is low and water heater was not fuctioning well even when I set tempreature to high. Also there isn't any phone directory, I had to browse through the entire Welcome Book just to get the number to dial Frontdesk. Besides all this minor setbacks, Singgahsana Hotel is a pleasant place to stay and definitely worthy in terms of rates.

| "We had booked a suite for 3 and when we arrived were originally confirmed as having only a double and told to share the kingsize bed with our 22 year old son! we had to request the manager as they were going to charge us for an extra bed when all had already been confirmed and paid. We were then shown to a garden suite which can only be described as disgusting. It was damp with paper peeling off the walls, stains on the ceiling. The furniture was so dirty we did not want to sit down and the bathroom was filthy. The bedsheet had blood stains. After complaining we were then shown to a refurbished suite which had a good sized bathroom and clean furniture although the rooms themselves were not that clean. Why were we not given this one at first,no explanation just an apology was given. At the restaurant for lunch we were only given a choice from the more expensive western menu rather than the local dishes, even though we asked for indonesian meals. The service was very poor in the restaurant. the receptionist very unhelpful in the mqain lobby. I will never stay at this hotel again," |

| "This hotel was quite nice, with an exotic outfit. However, the rooms were not all renovated, and mine was a bit old fashion, and not that clean. My colleague's one was renovated and quite nice. However, we paid the same price for it. And I am not sure I benefited from an actual Deluxe pool room, whereas I paid for it; as I had a view on the car road. Moreover, we were very close to a Mosque, and from my room, I could hear loudy prayers a 4.00 am ! I was not so convinced by the quality of this hotel.
Yet, the restaurant staff was very friendly.

| "Stayed 3 nights recently the hotel location which is off town is superb for those who prefer the peace and quite of a bustling city like Surabaya. The resort style hotel rooms are pretty big and spacious however requires urgent refurbisment as its exterior looks aging.Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful and service is very efficient.Overall the hotel is value for money.
