| "fantastic friendly staff. Unfortunately the lobby/dining room area was not air conditioned at all. So quite humid.
The pool was not in working condition at all which was quite disappointing. The staff showed it to me. It was outside and just basically a huge mud pond.
The room itself was very large and comfortable, but the lighting was not working well, many mosquitos at night (I should have asked for help but did not). The staff were amazingly nice.
The location is quite far....so isolated. It's far from shopping etc. There is a small market or grocery store right across the road which was handy.
Good room size for price, attractive hotel surroundings, but not a place if you're looking for close proximity to faciilities. Breakfast is traditional Indonesian (quite spicy) if you can handle it.

| "I was not favourably impressed by the hotel which gave the impression -even from the outside -that it was relying upon its past grandeur. I cannot remember if it was star-graded but I would assess it as a 2-star hotel.
The place gave the imprsssion that it was pretty much run-down and could do with a total refurbishment and upgrading.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
I had the impression that the hotel was around 20 minutes from the city centre when, in fact, it was quite far away.
I would not really choose to holiday there again.
