| "We stayed here two nights. This is an acceptable hotel, itīs OK. Not bad, but not very good either. Letīs say an acceptable midrange hotel. I was satisfied, because we booked it for a reasonable price. We paid 38 euro's per night for two persons (so 76 euro's in total for two nights) including breakfast and for that rate it felt OK for us. I looked for a hotel in the old Batavia area. This hotel lies in walking distance from a shopping mall and more interesting (historical), if you like a walk (trough the traffic), you can go to the center of old Batavia by foot. So I would say, if you can book this hotel for a low rate, try it. The staff was friendly, the service OK. There is a swimming pool in the other building (the building: one side is hotel, one side is apartments). What I disliked: one elevator was not in use or out of order, and the air conditioning in our room was cooling after a while, but not very cold. If I would go to Jakarta again soon, I would probably choose this hotel again for about the rate I paid now." |

| "The staff including the security guards are very friendly and courteous. Location is good if you like shopping. The shopping has to be done in the day as the shopping hour in the nearby shopping malls close at 7.30pm. Drinks served in the hotel is very expensive, a Stout or Beer will cost more than a meal itself. Sound insulation of the rooms is bad, you can clearly hear the conversation of your neigbours as well as the five times prayer from the nearby mosques." |

| "The location is great- a walking distance to Mangga Dua Mall, a massive shopping complex. Outside of hotel compound, you will see a 'real Jakarta' as you walked pass dirty lanes with potholes, congested road and rundown shoplots. You'll never missed the smiles from hotel's bellboy to its security guard and room cleaners, BUT not from the staff who manned the reception counter! Most have straight faces, tight upper lips with deep, uninterested voices!Maybe it was my unfortunate days at Ibis. Breakfast is above average. Room and bathroom is small but clean. The lobby is also small and most of the time, crowded with guests that come and go.It's even difficult to see a vacant sofa to seat and to have a chit-chat with your friends and family. " |

| "The hotel was pleasant enough, but it was isolated from the rest of the city by permanent traffic jams.
Most of the staff were helpful, but the people on reception were happy to smile and say things weren't right, but unwilling to put them right." |

| "This was a great place to stay in... located conveniently across the Mangga Dua shopping complex (lots to buy here). Especially like the fact that the double bed was a king sized bed... where 3 people could sleep comfortably... My friends n myself had a blast here as the room was huge, bed was huge.. All 4 of us could move around comfortably in this spacious room (2 + 1 beds. Breakfast was nice n simple... perhaps the bathroom was a little small... overall thumbs up! =P" |

| "My first impression when i reached the hotel from the airport is that the hotel is a bit dull. But later i found out that this is one of the safest and most convenient hotel if u want to be near shopping place. The shopping mall entrance is just a few meters away and is interconnected with 3 major shopping area in Jakarta. That is Pasar Pagi Mangga Dua, ITC and Mangga Dua Shopping Mall. Anyway the cafe should add more items in their menu. " |
