| "
I stayed in Borobudur about 25 years ago and enjoyed my stay. Now, back again I found the hotel mainly the same. The hotel managed to keep its nice style and high end, 5star quality.
I missed nothing except the Internet access (WiFi) in my room. Many International hotels have free WiFi access in the rooms or offer few hours free Internet access.

| "Very beautiful old hotel, the rooms were large and clean. We lived on the 8th floor with a great view. The hotel breakfast was good but I had expected a bit more from a five star hotel breakfast. The swimming pool area was great as well as the bar/restaurant in the lobby with live music every night. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful and friendly!" |

| "A hotel mainly for locals rather than foreigners. Slow service, took me 30min for check out. steep prices for all in house services like restaurant, bar, room service. good location for someone who travels by rail since just 1km away form Gambir Jakarta's main train station.
Overall; there are better hotels in Jakarta in the same price range.
I will not return.

| "The hotel was clean, the food was very good with many varieties. I was amazed with the size of the pool this the only time I have seen such a huge pool.
I chosed the hotle because of the promosion price.

| "its reasonably priced but the rooms are old and somewhat tired - not in the class of the major hotels - shangrila, hyatt etc. location is also away from the CBD, near the government offices - so allow an extra 15-30 minutes to the big fountain in the middle of town. airport is 1 hour 15 minutes at least." |

| "The ground floor level of the hotel is very nice. The lift area of the floor we stayed on was also fine. However the paintwork and wall papering of the corridors and the room itself were in serious need of refurbishment. It feels like this could be a 5* hotel, but the shabiness of the room decor lets it down." |

| "I have stayed in most hotels in Jakarta and this is by far the worst hotel I have found rooms are tacky with wallpaper coming off the walls, stains in bedding and carpets, ants running all over the furniture, awful!
I ended up getting sick here with the runs, avoid it!
Parklane and Le Meriden best bet!" |
