| "Myself, husband and 21yr old daughter stayed here for 3 nights in September 2008 and found it great. Great location across the road from beach and a 5 minute walk to Legian shopping. Not to busy, breakfast good with great meals and entertainment at Papas Cafe, althougha little expensive for Bali standards. Would most probably stay there again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay." |

Costs were higher for drinks, meals etc than other establishments in area.
A very clean hotel / resort
Did not quite reach expectations but we would return.

| "We loved our stay at Alam Kulkul so much we tryed to return during our trip in Bali but alas it was fully booked. A have in a mad mad place that is Kuta! The service was impecable the only downside was the bathroom which was quite small and dark. The shower was attached to the wall over the bath and was not very convienient to use. There was some building work at one of the pools while we were there but we didn't find this a problem as we spent most of the day across the road at Kuta BEACH. Also a hotel is being built directly at the side of Alam and distracts the view while you are laid at the main pool. Breakfast fantastic lots of choice you def won't be disappointed in that , eggs anystyle cooked there snd then by chef" |

| "We went there for honeymoon on July 08,so far overall of this hotel is ok. friendly staff there, and place is clean & spaces.Food is nice.
One thing we felt uncomfortable is the bed.The mattress of the bed is too soft, it might cause backache for older age." |

| "Lovely staff and lovely grounds, but was comparitively pricey to what was available. Location was terrific and food was great, but was annoyed not to get the room we booked on ground floor, as we had an infant with us. " |

| "Service, especially reception was robotic and inflexible, late check-out was not an option without paying extra (at the hotel rates).
The room was modern, though as often the case the details were poorly constructed. The bathroom whilst clean was of a poor standard.
The location, whilst on the beach, is a reasonable walk from shops and restaurants." |
